In July 2017, the National Assembly in a historic vote passed the Reduction of Agebill popularly known as the Not Too Young To Run bill to reduce the age for runningfor office in Nigeria. The bill has been transmitted to the 36 State Houses ofAssembly for passage. For Not Too Young To Run to be a reality a minimum of 24states must pass the constitutional amendment.
To this end, the Not Too Young To Run movement is hosting a Citizens Town Hallon Constitution Review on December 11, 2017 in Abuja. The town hall is convenedto provide a platform for interface between high-level policy makers and citizens onthe ongoing constitution review process. At the town hall meeting citizens will engage Speakers of State Assemblies on pathways for ensuring the outcome of the constitution review meets the aspiration of the people.

Only confirmed participants will receive an official invitation for the town hall meeting. The organizers will provide lunch and resource materials. Participants will be expected to cover the cost of travel and other incidentals.
